A few weeks from now valentine’s day is coming and I am excited to buy the things that I would give to my siblings, mom and friends at work so that they would be happier especially my friends that don’t have boyfriend this time. I want to surprise them with gifts that they want to receive even if it is just a token but I know they would appreciate it. I begin searching for valentines gifts for women so that my budget would be set aside to the person I would give this valentine’s day. I would also give my boss something nice gift because she is thoughtful with me when it comes to this special occasion so that we will both be happy celebrating valentine’s day with loving partners in life.

I bought recently a hand and body lotion from ever belina because my lotion was already consumed. This time I tried green tea extract for a change because I used to buy papaya extract. This lotion is for normal to dry skin although my skin is not dry but I wanted to try another scent. It has a moisturizer with green tea extract, a well known antioxidant that counters skin damage and premature aging caused by harmful environmental stress. My skin is softened, protected and restored to a natural healthy glow. I like buying this brand because the price is affordable and I enjoyed using it for 2 months.

I was surprised, my friend called up telling me that she was at the airport going to London. It was a sudden trip but she had no choice but to go for a business trip.  We were chatting over the internet this weekend after two days of her arrival, when she mentioned to me that she had bought hsn coupons as her birthday gift for me and her sister. I wonder what to buy on the coupons that she will gave me but I have already in mind what I need the most for my birthday. I want to buy a pair of white gold earrings because I lost one pair of it and I couldn’t find it anymore. I was crying about it but I have to accept it as it was gone already. I was happy as I can now buy a new replacement of earrings with the coupons that my friend gave me.

This new year, the food that my sister was cooking are pork humba, sauteed shrimps and spaghetti. We still have macaroni salad, chocolate cake and ham left this christmas so we served this food for the new year. I bought some fruits such as guava, tisa, apples, pears, grapes, kiwis, grapefruits, mandarin oranges, star apple, lanzones, rambutan, mangosteen. We grown red tambis in our backyard so this is part of our fruit preparations for new year believed to bring good luck and prosperity in our lives. As usual I bought soft drinks, white wine with luscious peach flavor, lemon, apple and light beers for our drinks. Happy new year everyone, I hope we all have hopeful, productive and prosperous new year ahead of us.

Yesterday I went to Saint Jude church to request for requiem mass of my father and my grandparents. I chose the 12 noon mass so that I won’t be late attending the mass for the 17th death anniversary of my father today. I woke up past 8 am and had my late breakfast and proceeded to the church for mass. I arrived a bit late at the church as the mass has started already. I always do this every year in remembering his death anniversary. I had noticed this time that I didn’t dream of him only my sister in Qatar had him in her dreams lately. I know my father was already in heaven and he was at peace in God’s place. We prepared food for him to celebrate his death anniversary today, remembering his greatness that he had shared with us when he was still alive. You are always in our hearts forever Papa and we love you.

My brother got some food christmas gift from work, he claimed it at the nearby mall last week. Every year, he will received christmas food from work as bonus from them. He got a big can of fruit cocktail, coconut gel, 1 kilo spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti meat sauce, sausage and corn beef. My mother had to buy for the lacking ingredients of macaroni salad and spaghetti such as macaroni, mayonnaise, condensed milk, nestle cream, raisins and ground beef to complete the ingredients. We decided to cook the macaroni this christmas and new year for spaghetti to have a variety of food. We are thankful for the food that my brother got from work because this is usually the food that we prepare for christmas.

My friend had been suffering of pain three months ago. She was complaining back pain so I advice her to have an aromatherapy massage since I have two gift certificates that my group dealer gave me when I was invited for christmas party. We already set an appointment next week after christmas as this would be the best time to indulge for a massage. We had a lengthy chat at coffee shop until she confessed to me that she had gone through an oxycontin detox addiction for three months already. I understand her condition because she was suffering pain and that she wanted to have an alternative treatments and hoping that it would alleviate the pain by relaxation, massage and meditation.

Last week, my friend in Canada was sending me money through my paypal account. Her dollars on paypal was not enough for the needs of her son so she was asking my help by lending her dollars on my account. I withdrawn the cash and transferred it on my union bank and sent it to her son’s bank account. This was my errand this afternoon sending cash to her son to pay for his yearbook and foods for christmas vacation. The bank was quite busy but they had three tellers so my transaction was done fast. I already texted her son about the money, he was happy and grateful that his mother sent him cash this christmas.

My friend Michelle showed me for the first time her new collection of five hundred peso bill. I was asking for another one to keep it on my wallet but she said this was the only 500 peso bill that she had from the bank. She kept it on her wallet as a souvenir for a new Philippine five hundred peso bill. I borrowed it from her so I could take a picture and posted here on my blog. The old one was the picture of Ninoy Aquino, an opposition senator and governor of Tarlac. While the new five hundred peso bill has a picture of his wife Cory Aquino, our 11th Philippine president. The color is vibrant, the design is cool and newly signed by their son, Noynoy Aquino, our newest president.

I always discuss to my mother how important to have a life insurance. She would agree with what I said and I suggested her to buy term life insurance this month since she would get a double pension pay as a christmas bonus for them as a pensioner. I already asked my friend on the requirements of getting a term insurance because she already applied her parents and so with her uncle. She got information through her client who informed her that they only required for medical certificate and birth certificate. I was convinced to enrol my mother as I realized that this would be her investment in the future.
