23rd General Assembly
Yesterday, we agreed with my friends Meriam and Michelle that we will attend the 23rd general assembly of davao doctors cooperative and election of new set of officers. I was a member of this cooperative for 5 years now and this was my second time that I attended the general assembly. Thankfully, my friends attended too because they were motivated for an early bird give-aways. I arrived in davao doctors college gym at 10 am, I was the third person on the line. The give aways that we got are malong blanket, a kilo of brown sugar and 1/4 kilo of white sugar. We were given early bird raffle ticket, bread sandwich and a soft drinks for our snack. We waited for the program for 30 minutes hoping that our names would be called for raffle prizes but we have no lack. we decided to go to DCLA shopping mall to shop for anything that we like. The assembly was successful, there were prizes such as cash gifts, appliances and we will get our cash dividends and patronage refund on tuesday as they will be closed tomorrow.
