My Gastronomic Birthday

I celebrated my birthday yesterday and it was a wonderful celebration together with my family and friends at work. Today is my second birthday dinner with two dear friends- Joyce and Lydia, whom I’ve known in college. I chose Mandarin restaurant because I miss chinese food already and my friend’s office and school are just few steps to this restaurant for ladies’ night. We ordered beef brisket with rice, fish taosi with rice, quail egg siomai, pancit canton (for long life), tropical fruit salad and a refreshing ice tea. We had a lovely dinner with lots of unending chats. My birthday was a memorable one spending quality time with some of my favorite friends and family. And I am grateful for all the blessings that come my way.
