A Sweet Token
When you’re in a job dealing with patient it’s nice when a member of the family thanking you with a small gift. We had this patient who gave my boss a red ribbon cake, fluffy muffins and a little mocha cake for me. She treated us with a cake as a token for a successful operation of her son. I shared some with my dear friend Joyce and the rest I brought home to share with my family. As you can see it was half left as we had eaten the other half. It was so nice receiving a little gift from a patient in this way, it made our job worthwhile.
