I am deeply sad with the news that our former Philippine President Cory Aquino is already dead. The democracy icon succumbed to colon cancer at 3:18 a.m. on august 01, 2009 this morning at the age of 76.

I will never forget you. You are our pillar of strength and a woman of principles. You are a great leader of all time. You had fulfilled your mission to lead your people from the oppression of a dictatorship toward democracy. May you give us more courage and enlightenment to fight for our right against corruption, greed and injustices.

In your prayers please remember Madam President Cory Aquino, who returned to his Creator on August 01, 2009. May the Lord of life grant him eternal happiness and peace. Let us also pray for their families during this sad time of the loss of their loved one. My condolences to the family.
