Partial Solar Eclipse In The Philippines

When I woke up this morning, I was so excited to witness the Philippine partial solar eclipse. It was very sunny morning sky when partial solar eclipse shown at 8:30 in the morning, though we were treated only to a partial eclipse.
The clear line of site was in India between 5:30 to 7:30 in the morning but the view was ruined due to weather conditions. While the areas of southwestern china was about 9:36 in the morning but the same thing, the view was obstructed due to a cloudy weather.
The sun wholly covered by the moon of 6 minutes and 39 seconds. It was such a lengthy duration and will not be watched until the year 2132.
The solar eclipse can be viewed using specially designed viewing glasses or solar filter glasses. What I was using was just an x-ray film. I was very happy to view the rare solar eclipse of the once in a lifetime event of the 2lst century.
