Easier Pass
I have read in health today Philippines that if bowel movements often mean arduous work for you, it may be because you don’t consume enough fiber, drink enough water, do enough exercise or you ignore the urge to go to the toilet. Some drugs, such as painkillers, iron tablets, antidepressants and antacids can also cause constipation. Here are some tips to make passing easier:
> eat regular, balanced meals with more fiber and less fat- up to six servings of cereals and at least five servings of fruits and vegetables daily.
> drink at least eight glasses of fluid a day, and cut down an alcohol.
> exercise every day, stand up and move around as often as possible.
> practice regularity, you bowel is a creature of habit. Try to sit at the same time every day. When you feel the urge to go-go!
> Take laxatives only if your constipation is due to medication or something that can’t be changed example pregnancy and do so for as short a time as possible.
> For chronically painful and difficult passage, just consult your doctor.
